Summer and pasta salad! YES!
I love making this quick pasta salad recipe in the summer. Pasta salad goes with just about every summer event, particularly bbq’s. The ingredients can vary, but most of the time I use
- Tomatoes – buy diced, or dice them up
- Diced Cucumber
- Chopped Bell Peppers
- Chopped Black Olives
- Ham Cubes
- Crumbled Bacon
- Diced Salami
- Cubed Provolone Cheese
- A bottle of Italian Dressing
How to Make Pasta Salad Recipe:
Boil the pasta noodles as instructed on the package.
When they’re cooked, drain and rinse with cold water.
Add in your desired amount of other ingredients
Pour at least half of the Italian dressing on the salad, and mix well.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, and pour the remaining dressing on right before serving!
Pasta Salad Variations
For a Greek pasta salad, use feta cheese, olives, tomatoes and some Greek seasoning.
For more of a Mexican flavor, use corn, black beans, cilantro, avocado and jalapeno peppers.
Go healthy by adding some smoked almonds and broccoli.
